The University of Macerata is organizing a public competition that will take place to award 7 scholarships each worth € 5,000.00 (inclusive of IRPEF) to deserving international students who enrol in a two year master’s degree course at the University of Macerata. Attention: Non-EU students residing abroad must do the application for pre-enrolment in the Italian Embassy (Form A). The application will have to be submitted by hand or sent by registered post with advice of receipt to Università degli Studi di Macerata – Ufficio Protocollo, Via Crescimbeni, 30-32 – 62100 Macerata, no later than 2.00 p.m. on 05 September 2016.
The call for applications is open to international students holding a qualification from an institution operating outside of the Italian system, that is considered valid for enrolment in a chosen master’s degree course (lasting two years). The scholarships awarded as per this call for applications are incompatible with the scholarships awarded by ERSU (the regional body for the right to study of the Marche Region) and other studentships or discounts offered by the University of Macerata, awards made within the frame of Erasmus Mundus, grants offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
1) applications may be submitted using the specific form, to be filled out in full, which can be downloaded from the website of the University of Macerata.
2) the following documents must be enclosed with the application form:
a) A copy of the applicant’s passport. EU citizens may attach a copy of their I.D. card;
b) A certificate stating their qualification for accessing the chosen course of study, with an indication of the final result obtained. EU citizens may use self-certification;
c) A motivational letter (max 1500 words);
d) A curriculum vitae.
Applications that do not contain all the required documentation will not be taken into consideration.
