Chevening Scholarships British Embassy 

The British Chevening Scholarships programme aims to bring future leaders, decision-makers, and opinion-formers to the United Kingdom for postgraduate studies of up to 12 months at a formative stage in their careers. The programme is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by The British Council. In Uruguay, where there is no British Council office, the British Embassy is responsible for running the scheme.

Scholarships are awarded from within the following study areas: economics and finance, law, international relations, diplomatic training, marine science, journalism, energy and sustainable development. We are looking for the very best, for leaders who already have demonstrated that they are people who can make a difference.
